The Mahjong Room
The Mahjong Room is a cosy Chinese eatery which has been serving up simple but modern dishes for more than 7 years. The diner is a long time favourite known for its healthy family-style dishes. Mahjong Room specializes in Cantonese style cuisine but also serves some favourite Sichuan and Shanghainese dishes. Popular dishes include Blue Swimmer Crab Gow Gee, Five Spice Chilli Chicken and Peking Duck Pancakes. Vegetable, seafood and meat main courses are a little more expensive but offer a more upmarket choice of Asian cuisine with a difference that sets Mahjong apart from the rest. Among the favourites are steamed eggplant & tofu with ginger, shallot and chilli; Ling Fillets & snowpeas wok fried with wood ear fungus; crispy snapper fillet wok fried with green and red capsicums with sweet and sour sauce; roast duck plate with fish cake, five spice tofu, mushrooms and snowpeas; sweet vinegar pork belly ribs with Chinese cabbage, straw mushrooms and lotus root; black pepper scotch fillet with button mushrooms and spinach onions and Chung Pao lamb in sweet bean and chilli paste with bean sprouts.

Noodle Star
For a great value for money quick Chinese meal look no further than the Noodle Star menu which has been a long time favourite with locals in the Surry Hills area. Noodle Star offers a wide range of traditional Chinese appetizers, laksa soups, Chow Mein dishes, traditional stir fried dishes, traditional Chinese dishes, wide range of rice choices, omelettes and vegetarian dishes. Don’t go past the steamed wontons – they are a must! Main dishes range from $12.50 to $15.90 for seafood so this menu is incredible value with high quality cuisine.

If you order your Noodle Star menu through Moving Menus and spend $45 or more than you will receive Bonus prawn crackers.

Tin Hong
Tin Hong is another Chinese option that Moving Menus offers. Great value for money again with main dishes ranging from $14.50 to $17.50 for seafood. Tin Hong’s pride is their famous Sang Choi Bao which everyone loves, their Dry Fried Shredded Steak Peking style, their combination omelette, Mongolian Seafood (which is for the ones who like it HOT), salt and spiced bean curd, seafood bean curd hot pot, deep fried duck with snow peas or plum sauce and crispy fried skin chicken.

Plus if you order your Tin Hong Chinese food with Moving Menus and spend $55 or more then you will receive a Bonus 1.25ltr drink or Prawn crackers.

Payment

How much does it cost?
All you have to pay are the menu costs and a small delivery fee of $6.95. Orders under $20 are subject to a minimum order fee of $2.00. All prices include GST.

How can I pay?
1. Cash: If you need change from a large note please let us know so that we can arrange the appropriate change for you.

2. Credit Card: For your convenience we accept all cards.  Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diner’s Club. An 80 cents credit card fee applies for all credit card transactions


Delivery

How long does delivery take?
Delivery is usually within 60 minutes from the time of your order to when the driver delivers your hot, freshly prepared restaurant meal. Some delays may be experienced on occasion due to busy restaurant kitchens, adverse weather or traffic.

We will advise your delivery time upon ordering and will keep you informed.
