Danny's La Bussola Restaurant

La Bussola Restaurant (as it was originally known) has been operating since 1990.  Danny, the current owner, took over the restaurant in October 2001 and changed the name to Danny's La Bussola.

La Bussola restaurant was famous for introducing thin crust pizza to the Darlinghurst and Eastern Suburbs area. When Danny took over the restaurant, he continued with this trend and made his mark by introducing new flavours that were a combination of his Italian and South American background.  Danny has also been instrument in providing the best Italian food to its customers.  All their ingredients are of the highest quality and all food is prepared daily.

Danny’s La Bussola’s scaloppine dishes have the exclusive flavours of Italy and South America giving each dish a uniqueness that keeps customers craving for more.  All scaloppini dishes are served with vegetables and croquette.  The chicken avocado dish has to be tasted to be appreciated.  It is a tender chicken breast cooked with fresh avocado, shallots, herbs, white wine and cream sauce.  Other scaloppine dishes include the Scaloppine Parmigiano that includes tender sliced veal pan-fried with butter, shallots, napolitana sauce topped with eggplant and melted mozzarella cheese.  An Italian tradition!  Moving Menus also offers Danny’s La Bussola Scaloppine Al Funghi with veal and mushrooms, Scaloppine Al Mango with veal and mango and Saltimbocca Romana that consists of veal with butter, shallots, white wine and cream sauce topped with ham and melted mozzarella cheese which is another Italian favourite!
